So I'm about to go on a trip to Thailand, huge planeride so I'm wondering what best to bring in terms of battery life. Question, does the vita battery last longer if you are only playing ps1 classics? Or does that not matter?

Otherwise I'm wondering the same for 3ds in terms of playing like the zelda Oracle games or the gba ambassador games

Check your flight number/plane online (seat guru?) as a lot of long haul planes now have chargers. A recent return flight from aus to UK gave me 2 usb charge points. I'm sure I had one somewhere on the UK to Thailand flight too

It was PSP exclusive back then.
Then some time before TGS2012 Shift told Bamco that they'd want to make VITA version also.

Get used to the gyro-aiming. Wish every shooter on Vita had that gyro-aiming!

The gyro-aiming might be the only good thing about the gunplay in the game. It's just so boring.

Well, I'm finally past the "intro" in P4G. I'm on the 6th or 7th floor in the first dungeon you do. Enjoying it so far, it's the first JRPG with turn based combat I've played in a long long while. The music during combat is perfect.

I only know one case, but it's slightly more expensive. It's 2 cases in one, pretty much. Smaller case that fits inside of a larger one. Holds 23 game cards, 2 Mem cards, and your power cables. Also has room for the Sony portable charger, if you get one in te future.

PDP Pull and Go Folio. Amazon looks to be out, but check local game stores or major electronic stores. Runs $29.99 usually. Love mine, wouldn't ever use anything else.

Without intimate knowledge of the mechanics and schedule you won't get all the trophies for P4G the first time. Play the game naturally and then on a second play through consult a guide. It's more fun to not worry about the trophies and just experience things naturally.

This. Also, you need to play through the game at least 2 times in order to get the platinum.

The fact that only downloadable PSP games work on the vita really hurt the system IMHO.

It creates a stream of revenue from old games for companies, leading them to just sit there and cash in the checks with no work.

This bundle is an example of that. Same with the gameloft game Nova. It's been a best selling game EVERY MONTH since vita released whenever ago. Same with the Monster Hunter game everyone bought when they got the vita just so they could play with a second analog stick.


Developers don't have to worry about the vita if they have games you can download for the PSP on it.

I guess people would advise you to play naturally for first round, so let me add a small thing to it.
Never try too hard to beat dungeons in short time, especially the first one. I've seen ppl get discouraged because they can't do it, and so that I've given them the same advice.

Tried the demo a long time ago and didn't really find it interesting.

Speaking of which it's pretty dumb that you can't download PSP demos on the Vita.

It is surprisingly addictive.

It was called Clan of Champions (GladiatorVS in Japan). On PS3 and PC. It had a generic fantasy setting instead of the gladiator setting and it seemed to focus more on 3 v 3 multiplayer.

Haven't played it yet, though.

Official word is that it "frees up some memory for UGC" but I also noticed the frame rate, particularly in the Beck levels, has improved.

Out of curiosity, I made an EU PSN account so I could possibly get some releases that never made it to Australia while also having DLC support for retail games I can buy locally. All I can say is that stuff is expensive on this store. Fate/Extra, one of the titles I actually purchased on my US PSN for $14.99, is £23.99.

I know that this has been the case for a while, but dayum.

It's been a while since I booted up a ps1 game on the Vita, but aren't you able to remap the corners of the front touch screen as buttons? Or is that psp games only..

Not sure.. it might be I enjoy getting pissed by doing it.. or I'm too lazy to attempt to change it.. but you're probably right.

So im taking a small break from Stealth Bastard as Im stumped on the level im on currently, and decided to start up Kenka Bancho....and I really like it. I thought the combat would have allot more jank then it does, but its almost about the same as Yakuza in that department I wish you could take screenshots of PSP games. Really makes me nervous some Pubs will want the sharing feature blocked on PS4.

Out of curiosity, anyone want to recommend me a PSP fighter. Kind of leaning into dark stalkers, or SF because it looked pretty great in that previous shot, but im not sure. I wish Injustice were announced , or that ultra SFIV was coming, but lol Capcom....

There is a built in camera feature for Kenka that shows in cutscenes, maybe it also applies to evrywhere else. Not sure.


SF 3 Alpha Max is a good SP fighter. Has a substantial single player mode in world tour that has some stat building into it.
