They barely went about with Wii U games, just 3DS games... Where was Super Mario 3D World? DKC: TF? Fucking Hell.
Instead we got more Pikmin 3 (which already was released) and Wind Waker HD with more emphasis on them changing the Triforce collecting part. We get it!
I wish I saw the EU or JP Direct... damn, NoA.

Because what it said it would do could have actually been much more. Pokemon X/Y, any third-party games and indies... hell, we could have at least gotten a trailer for Mario.

But actually that LBTW trailer was awesome. Love the new portal to the dark world. Also there's an "evil" black Triforce. Also Triforce shards aren't in the ocean anymore in WW.
Also LUIGI IN SMASH, pretty nice confirmation as usually he's a secret character. And W101 direct. Pumped.
All in all, not bad for what they said it would be

This was truly one of the worst things ever. Why did it even happen? The only info they showed on Wii U stuff was from games we already have plenty of information on. No new Nintendo eShop game announcements, no new info/footage on DKCR:TF or SM3DW, no new firmware discussion.

After the terrible sales news last week you figure they would at least make a half hearted effort to impress people. Like N64 games coming to the Wii U's virtual console. Oh well

This place is probably a disaster right now, but let me just say Wind Waker HD looks fucking amazing. Can't believe how they made such a good looking game look even better.
Those complaining ...we said have expectations in check. Nintendo was very clear about what was going to be talked about and even then there were a few surprises. Seriously stop acting like children whenever one of these Nintendo Directs take place. You should know how they go by now. Also does anyone here really think there won't be another Nintendo Direct to cover Super Mario 3D World and Donkey Kong before they release? They don't come out until November and December.
The shoot'em up on the 3DS looks pretty good. I remember hearing the name before but never saw footage of what it looked like until now.
Hmm. I was expecting the Link in A Link between Worlds to be the same one from ALTTP but a new one is nice. Curious as to who his supporting cast will be then if this takes many years after ALTTP.

Except they didn't give us updates on any announced titles. We already know that the Triforce Quest is being adjusted, but they have yet to explain what that means. We already know how the badge system works in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team because the game is already out in two different regions. We already know that Rayman Legends contains levels from Rayman Origins because Ubisoft already announced it in a press release. I do agree that some people get overyhyped for no reason, but they announced FUCK ALL. An Animal Crossing app and localization announcement that would have otherwise been made by Capcom are not worth the aggravation.
