Dungeon Siege III is an abomination. I really loved the first two.

Everything else they've done is great+, though. But DS3, man, I can't let that go.

I didn't see anything wrong with DS3. They took a series that was a joke and put out a mediocre game that was also the best game in the series.

I picked that game up on a Steam sale. It's awful. It took everything DS1 and 2 were and threw that out of the window. On PC, it has "build for console" written all over it. No, there's nothing good about DS3.

Not sure about Polyphony Digital - The original Motortoon Grand Prix was pretty awful. The US got the much improved sequel which was just rebranded as 1 instead of 2. Not sure if the original ever made it out of Japan.

Yeah, coming off of KOTOR made Jade Empire feel like a weak game so I couldn't get into it, but by no means would I consider it a bad game because I know plenty who loved it at the time.

That's like me shitting on Criterion over Burnout Paradise because its not half as fun as Burnout 3 IMO. Bioware rocks! And no botched ending will change that.

Retro and Intelligent Systems have the best track record on the Nintendo side of things. And they're both the Metroid studios (Other M not included).

Naughty Dog has no specific teams. They have made a point in explaining that after TLOU was announced and people were saying their B-team made U3 which is why it's worse than U2.

And again, Naughty Dog existed before they made your favorite PS2 and PS3 games.

Ya, Jade Empire isn't a bad game, but I am absolutely so damn spiteful of that IGN 9.9 review that I have an irrational backlash towards it.

I was so fucking pissed when I played that game. Absolutely furious. It's the most angry I've ever been playing a video game, because of what I had expected and what it actually was.

Their WRC games on the PS2 were really well made and so were the MotorStorm games on the PS3 (I really don't know how good Arctic Edge was, but apparently that was made by Bigbig Studios anyway). Also DriveClub looks really awesome.

I'm a Naughty Dog fan and I think their 4 games this generation and the Crash Bandicoot games are absolutely fantastic but I find Jak II to be utter garbage. Even if I didn't count the pre-actual Naughty Dog games (Way of the Warrior and Rings of Power), I couldn't say they've done no bad games just because of that game.

They're the closest though along with Valve.
