Rockstar is going to stay quiet for as long as possible to make people double dip but I'm glad these signs are so evident to save some people from being duped.

Maybe all versions were in development at the same time at one point? Can't expect them to remove like every single reference or hidden code in a game or to have them fully update something after the fact (even an app) when they can just do all of them together.

i have no idea

But the Midnight Club 2 port was AMAZING. GUI properly scaled to widescreen and Hor+

Yeah the pc version is pretty great, could even run it in eyefinity/surround.

Kinda OT, i was secretly hoping the free Midnight Club 2 for joining their steam page would lead to a port of L.A.

A large part of it was probably that it was developed by Rockstar San Diego, who doesn't have much experience with PC outside of the Midtown Madness series and a port of Midnight Club 2.

I think RDR will someday show up, the same as Bully did, when R* makes an upgraded version for next gen. I kind of get that feeling when I read the interviews about why it never came to PC.

I played 15min of the PS3 version, now I may just give it to my brother and wait for the PC version.

I was really hyped until i played the game, now not so much.

Maybe you should just play it. The beginning was harsh for me too, but i got used to the roughness and now it's just damn great.

Can't wait to see this one in its full glory on PC.

I'm not sure if I'm seeing a lot of insecurity in this thread or just more reassurance. I think PC gaf needs to embrace the fact that the game is coming and stop with these continual clue finding missions through such absurd "hints".

It better come to the PC, I'm banking a new rig on it ;)

There are people who haven't bought it yet?

Like other have said, 720p, framerate being close to 20fps, vaseline smeared IQ and dat pop-in also the chance of more traffic with the traffic density option, i'll wait.

Why do we need clues? I haven't read one convincing argument that speaks against a PC release.

Cause RDR!!!! Even though that's part of a console series, i bet there are many people who use that argument don't even know there was a game prior to Redemption.

Obviously, PC stands for "politically correct". They have a PC version and an uncensored version of every icon, because that's GTA motherfuckers! We have nudity and drugs even in the icons.

Pointing to RDR seems to be the most common argument, but this conveniently ignores the fact that every non-portable GTA has made it to the PC.

If R* were smart they would release on next gen by christmas so they get the double dippers. Then release the PC version by March 2014 for the triple dippers.

...with Win8 compatibility only.

The vehicle density is actually pretty impressive in GTAV already. Much higher than it was on GTAIV on consoles. I wouldn't be surprised if the option isn't even there when the PC port comes along.
As for the rest: exaggeration (well, except 720p lol). It's really not that bad, but if you've got the patience, then more power to you. Good luck avoiding spoilers for x amount of months, though. :p

They'll claim superior performance!

I already watched a good 3-4 hours of Gta V, i know of which i speak, it's not exaggeration, i'm happy waiting though, there are more games than just Gta being released.
