I would love to use the hood view while driving but they made the cam stutter way too much. I wouldnt be able to use the view for more than a minute without getting nautious. Which is a shame bc its technically the best view as no car is blocking sight.

Was messing around on a jet ski I stole before heading over to the shrink. I love how the game tries to keep the last vehicle you used because as soon as I left his place I found the jet ski on the side of the road.

ha, yea, I accidentally ran over the entire crew at the end of the mission when they stopped abruptly in the canal.

This is exactly what I run into as well. I see a ton of them but am unable to interact with any. And yeah, I'm pretty sure the game did say to hit them up to replenish health. Weird.
There's at least one Burger Shot, but I don't think you can go inside.
You can buy snacks at a gas station if you approach the counter. They refill your health.
I can confirm this does absolutely nothing.
Maybe not, Virtua Tennis 4 was pretty awful.

Hood cam, always. So much more immersive. Weaving in and out of traffic, right at street level, is awesome! Plus, I find it easier to control since there's no camera lag like there is with the chase cams.
That's just for cars and trucks though. For bikes and such I use the medium chase cam.

Helpful tip to losing a wanted level. Once you out of sight of the cops, get out of the car and find some place to hide. It's faster to lose wanted level on foot than in a car. If in a convertible, do down the roof, turn off the radio, car and headlights.
This I don't understand. They could have definitely done a better job on the shooting while driving mechanic. That's a huge part of gameplay, and the way it is done right now sucks.
I'm really impressed with the level of detail of architecture seen in San Andreas.

One star still takes about 5 minutes to dissapear.

Next time, count it.
You will be surprised at the results.
You can slow down time as you shoot from a car, as Franklin, Wei Shen style.
The mechanic really only has its use then. Heck, sometimes in the middle of a gunfight, playing as Franklin, I'll jump into a car to slow-mo shoot my foes.

i agree it would be the best but...
how the hell can you stand driving with that insane camera bobbing. gives me a headache. i wish the hood cam was smooth, then it'd be the best, but as it is i can't stand all the movement you get in it

In IV, if you tap Triangle ( Y) you would exit a car but the car won't turn off, if you hold Triangle (Y) then it would fully turn off. In V, it seems to only turn off. That is annoying.

One thing I miss so much from GTA4 are the chopper controls. My God! They are awful in GTA5. In fact awful is gross understatement. Whoever thought it was a good idea should be taken out and shot. Just awful awful. I was dying to fly the frogger but that sit flee like a kite; I can't imagine how awful the buzzard will be since that one was already terrible in 4.

For everyone with a Samsung LED, try turning off gamemode. Makes the picture quality a lot better imo.
GTA V is more than just a game, confirmed.
Helicopter Speed Run is impossible to do on gold.

Even though Jay gets his head blown off, his entire speech was so ridiculous and satirical. Rockstar finally brings some good, unrealistic humor back into the story!

Hold down the shooting button (LB I think) and then you can move the reticule around with the right stick to aim.

Any tips to climb onto the trains? I saw people do it on streams, but I try to jump onto one and I just end up headbutting the edge

I wish the in game map had a satellite view. I whipped out my physical game map to help me with a jail bond. Brings me back to the old days though.

Do you mean mission completion medals? If so they are under the Game tab in the pause menu under the Replay Mission list.
