Everyone here at Insomniac has been working really hard to bring you Ratchet and Clank’s latest adventure, Into the Nexus, and we’re happy to announce that it will be available in stores and online on November 12th, 2013! An epilogue to the Future games (Tools of Destruction, Quest For Booty, A Crack in Time), Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus is packed with an all-new story, an all-new arsenal, and all-new gadgets – and it’s only $29.99.

Ratchet’s Pyronox Armor, available as a pre-order bonus at participating retailers, is inspired by Gadgetron’s popular Infernox Armor. This lightweight, durable suit is for the fashion-conscious adventurer. Besides granting a 5% damage-reduction, it also all but guarantees “Best-Dressed” awards at high-school reunions.

Additionally, if you pre-order via Amazon.com, you’ll score a huge package of R&C-themed content for PlayStation Home – a value of roughly $30.

That’s all for now. The wait for more classic Ratchet & Clank is almost over! Follow Insomniac on Facebook and Twitter for the latest R&C news.

I have this pre-ordered from Amazon for £16.60. This and Zelda Link Between Worlds are my most wanted games this year.

Nice that gives me a couple of days to play it before PS4 comes out. More than enough time considering this isn't going to be as long as ACiT.

I also like the price....

now that this game is almost done..... they just need to make a new Planet Exploring/Space battling PS4 R&C that will officially trump ACiT completely

I don't care who makes it just make it amazing

Cannot wait. Hope it's as good as Crack in Time. Love that game.

Seriously, I'm dying to get my hands on this game. It's been a long time since we've had a traditional R&C game, and if this is half as good as ACiT it'll be a treat. I like the price point, but my wallet is definitely being squeezed this holiday season.

I also like the price. Hopefully I'll have time to beat it before I get my PS4 (day 1). I'm getting the disc version praying it won't be a download card or something.
I feel it's kind of sent to die though :(

Was All 4 One or Full Frontal Assault or any of the later Future series any good?

Crack in Time rivals Up Your Arsenal for best game in the series, and one of the best games of its respective generation.

The two spin-offs were mediocre to me, but they have their fans.

This seems like a return to form for the series, and even though its budget-priced/sized, its by the Crack in Time team/creative director, so I have no doubt this will be a quality R&C adventure.

Also, there is a disc version right? Not a download card or some shit?

oh god, this makes me want to go down the Ratchet rabbithole so badly. Played all 3 original games during the summer and loved them. Now I have to play the PS3 ones.

Kinda a bummer they said it was shorter than crack in time, but the price reflects that. Would be a hard pill to swallow if it was $60.

Hopefully I'll have enough time to finish it before the PS4 Launch. School is usually brutal for me in November.

and Tools of Destruction is pretty damn solid, if not as good as UYA, GC, or CiT. I put it around the same level as Deadlocked, as in totally a game worth playing if you have any love of the franchise.

I'd say from 2000-2009, R&C was probably my favorite new franchise of the decade. The best games(UYA, CiT) are some of the best of their respective generations, and even the "lesser" ones like Deadzoned are very good, very funny, lots of great action, an addictive gameplay loop of upgrading weapons and collecting bolts for even more fun combat.
