FFS, the XB1 version doesn't have "more detail" it has a nasty sharpening filter which actually adds noise. The PS4 and PC versions look much smoother and don't have crushed black levels.
Here is the framerate video

Oh yeah, shit on gaf to justify your ignorance, right on buddy.
Yep. Resolution matters.
Eek.
Reminds me of those floodlights in JJ Abrams movies to add that production value effect ;PFFS, the XB1 version doesn't have "more detail" it has a nasty sharpening filter which actually adds noise. The PS4 and PC versions look much smoother and don't have crushed black levels.
I don't know what the Xbone is doing to the textures, but it really doesn't look all that good. It's like contrast and sharpening post-process filters are getting applied or something.

am i fucking high? the xbox looks better
Because it is. DF found the same. Sony has better effects and better aliasing in their game and they wouldn't have lost the visual comparison if they put a half decent scaler into their box.
NEXT GEN UPSCALING, BEATS OUT HIGHER RESOLUTION
Upscale?Someone explain this.
So the real news here is that I should just stick to playing games on the PC for a while.
NEXT GEN UPSCALING, BEATS OUT HIGHER RESOLUTION
This thread sucks. Where are the meltdowns?
lol what the hell.Someone explain this.
Thank you!Alright, I just "corrected" the levels of the PS4 side to match the X1 side closer. All I did was crush the black and white levels. I did *not* touch the colors at all. Notice the SSAO on the PS4 version around the hand.
It's unfortunate that the captures are so different, making comparisons difficult.
Microsoft you sneaky bastards.

Look at that, you cannot even the details on the gun on Xbox.
How do you come to that conclusion? The PS4 version has a better framerate and runs at a higher resolution.
It's actually a really brilliant move on MS's part, as it is obvious in this thread that people fall for the over sharpening and oversaturation. If people want that look on the PS4 version, they can use their TV settings.

To me PS4 Multiplayer looked better than Xbox One Single Player which I found very suprising. More in my impressions video.
Why? So you can give us glasses to confirm that XB1 does look better?
lol oh man all this talk about the xbone version being much weaker and it ends up looking better in a lot of the shots.
it runs better at a higher resolutionThis.
