Part of me wants it to be a massive RPG that never ends. 
It's probably going to be a fairly linear story though, since that's more ND's style. Something like Ringworld would be awesome. I doubt they'll actually license Ringworld or anything else but it'd be nice if we were transported to some epic, mindblowing world filled with crazy technology.
Oh, and I hope it doesn't have too much shooting, unless it's ship-to-ship combat or something like that. Ooh, how about an open-space type game where you're a smuggler or a pirate, drawn in to a web of intrigue?

He actually probably has or he at least got to see it in its current form. He seemed to be in Japan doing interviews for TLoU, so he almost certainly stopped by Sony's HQ in Japan, and that's where Team ICO is located.
No offense to Naught Dog, but just pondering TLG is more exciting than UC4 in space being announced in six weeks.
Geoff, cough twice if VGAs will have the gameplay reveal of The Order.

FWIW, Josh Scherr was in the "Special Thanks to the Kennel" section in TLOU credits along with the likes of Amy Hennig and Justin Richmond, which means he's probably part of the core "ND PS4 game" team.
If you can't tell a post is a joke, let alone think it's funny, it's me that should feel stupid.

Picture a small town in America. An idyllic haven were life is so blissfully normal. We see a typically well crafted cutscene with our protagonist having a late evening drinks with friends. The camera pans through the window and outwards towards space, where we see a small object moving ever closer to earth. We pan back as the protagonist and his friends huddle up against the window, watching with fascination as the object descends in a woodland near by. Grabbing a torch, the group of friends leave the house and make for the woodland, laughing, joking and talking about what it could be. Eventually they come to a clearing and peep through the undergrowth. They see a large slice of bright light. Then a shadow is cast across the clearing and so it begins!
All done with the same earnestness as the scenes with Joel and Ellie.

I actually love this concept art, Daxter E is great. but I'd rather the art is used for new IP and have nothing to do with Jak and Daxter.
an epic fantasy story about bounty hunter and his pet is a solid premise for a new IP.
