I MUCH prefer the XONE screenshot. It looks way better. Clearer, brighter ... the lighting looks better. It's just my opinion but I am suprised that the PS4 doesn't really 'pop' after all the hype.
It would also explain how the footage captured by IGN and Sixth Axis appears to be native 720p on both systems.

I wouldn't say it's the worst game to date but it sure feels that way after years of CoD fatigue.I mean PS4 dudes can buy KZ: SF instead, Xbone and PC dudes can buy BF4 instead.
Do not support the worst CoD game to date, people. And I am not talking about graphics.
FYI: The IGN comparison has the XB1 version in the colorblind mode which makes red hues pink. You can turn it on and off in the game.
Game looks like hot garbage on everything. Why is this title even debated?
So the OP is saying that the comparison videos are comparing footage of the PS4 and X1 at 720p on both devices, and that they didn't use the PS4 in 1080p for their capture?
Not that the PS4 version of CoD isn't 1080p, just that the footage isn't?
So the polygon "it may have been 1080p but I couldn't tell" might be accurate if the PS4s weren't set up correctly.
finally somehow makes a thread. Was wondering this all day. Did IGN fucked up recording somewhere or did Infinity Ward fooled every journos lying about PS4 being 1080 ?
Let mocoworm know. He can play the whole game in colour blind mode instead since he prefers it!
didnt sony and IW come out and say the game was in 1080p native??
Is the culprit here IW for lying or the capture devices not being setup correctly?

Me too, but if you Watcj the video you will notice how it has a green hue and in some scenes it just looks unnatural. It's like IW decided to use the colors of the consoles to use for their hues lolIn this image from the OP:

Games on current generation consoles have been able to render in different resolutions depending on the output setting of the console. It's not impossible that the PS4 version simply renders in 720p if you have the console set to that. It is however incompetent by those showing the game off if they didn't tell gaming press that it was being shown in a different resolution because clearly almost everyone thought they were being shown the game in 1080p.

Why are people getting mixed up, THE GAME IS NATIVE 1080P ON PS4 its the vs video that have captured ps4 running in 720p on the display settings output. Read people.
That it was perhaps run at 720p upscaled to 1080p. It was just not run at its native res. This is the theory at least. What are we saying?
But 1080p downsampled to 720p should looks different in aliasing to a native 720p. This is still not the case. Which means the PS4 version can do 720p (we assume it can do 1080p native too). The questions now are
1. Which version is everyone reviewing?
2. What does resolution do to the framerate?

Im not sure it would look different at all, it screams of amateur hour, they really suck at this whole vs thing, check there other vs videos there a complete mess.
Yeah, I'll be honest. I see no fucking difference at all.
Now, that is puzzling to me, because there should be at least a LITTLE difference between 720 and 1080 in those pics, but I see nothing.
Don't give me this bullshit that 720 and 1080 look exactly the same. So something is definitely off.

The thing is though, IGN is one of the few outlets who actually say the PS4 version looks sharper.
Who's Lucy ?
Nice bait.
EDIT: Wait, you were serious? Oh. My. God.
