I actually disconnected my Capture Card from my Xbox One before I started playing the game. I would love to upload footage and get that YouTube publicity, but... Not being that guy who breaks the NDA.

Now... To set my TV to 1080p... Had it down to 720p to play Battlefield 4 and Dead Rising 3 without the sharpening filter.

the sharpening filter for bf4 was removed before the game was even launched.

Nah. I legitimately can't tell the difference between resolutions. I'm gonna set my TV to 1080p, and then 720p and see if there's a difference. If it looks native or up scaled.

I know there is a lot of confusion over this right now. We ARE NOT running a beta at the moment. We're doing some very limited technical testing (Alpha. If you have not been invited via email and signed a very comprehensive NDA, you cannot access it. I cannot get you in. Don't be upset, most people are not going to be playing in this and the ones that are can't talk about it, stream, post video, etc. We understand the desire for a Beta and we have not ruled it out but I don't have any news on it for you currently. They're laughing at all the free PR from this if anything. They don't give a fuck about a broken NDA, they got a hit game coming and giving people a free taste with the caveat "shhh don't tell anyone about it..*wink wink*" is just another effective marketing method.

If they're so diehard about banning people for talking about it why even release this at all? Just hand it over to the press who actually ARE beholden to NDAs and stress test the thing.

You can calm down now. I'm buying Titanfall the day it comes out. Talking about it being 720p doesn't mean I don't like the game, and I hate the Xbox. Sometimes people enjoy talking the technical aspects of games.

This is the first I've heard of this. The sharpening filter is built right into the XB1's OS. The only way to get around that is to run the game in 1080p, or for the game to have it's own upscaling built into it.

Agreed. It's a videogame, that comes out in less than 2 months. There will likely be a beta that many of us will be able to play within weeks.
