Besides, they've only ever been announcing sold through numbers for PS4 at key milestones. The above numbers are sold in.

Thank you for making the thread. Couldn't find it, on mobile and couldnt be assed to do it.

But the numbers are surprising. We know PS3 numbers aren't great in NA, but better in Japan. I'm sure we can get a fairly good estimate for each console sooner or later.

Huh, looking at this Q1 data isn't so bad for PSV/TV unless the PSP sales are still massive in JP.
What are the split between PS3/PS4 3.5 though?

Well even if the PS3 didn't decline at all over last year, that still means 2.4M alone at least for PS4 right? Compared to 1.1M for XB1+360...

Yup, and PS3 sales have no doubt declined. We all knew the PS4 was easily beating the X1 WW, this just puts the gap into better perspective for those that didn't believe

It'll be difficult to tell for quite a while. MCC has to claw some of the gap back, but I'd argue that bloodborne will extend the gap once again.

Nah psp has collapsed in japan, 94k for the year. Vita is at 761k for the year in Japan

Most likely PS3 shipments have dropped for Q1 compared to FY13 Q1 but even going with say 1.1M that leaves 2.4M PS4 shipped from April 1st to June 30th

With 7M sold-through announced April 16th and having been achieved April 6th, PS4 is probably at or slightly above 9M at present sold-through depending how many are still on shelves

Could be 9.1M or 9.2M as well

Of that 3.5 million I doubt much of it is PS3 compared to a huge chunk of the 1.1 million that is 360.

Finance division doing fantastic as usual ($430 opt profit)

Company as whole posted $260m net profit.
