This. And Disney is going to put everything they have behind it.

People are joking themselves if they think otherwise. Disney would re-release Avatar 2 just to beat Endgame.

i remember when this came out, the news was doing all these stories about Avatar sickness, people who were sad they didn't live in the movie or something. it was really weird.

well, the market has spoken. the market wants more movies where the female lead commits noble suicide! also Captain America let 9/11 happen! let's celebrate that! /s

Avatar was more impressive because of just far it blew the record out of the water. Avengers had to squeak by, despite having a wider release and then a re-release.

Avatar sequel dethrones this, IMO.

Wasn't one of the factors for why Avatar did so well was because the tickets were way pricier than normal tickets.
