I haven't found an anime I liked for over a decade. I've just been watching the same five for years. Other people told me to try other stuff, but I just didn't like it and thought I wouldn't even be able to enjoy another anime series, but I saw One Punch Man on Netflix last night and decided to give it a try.
Oh shit! I like it. I actually like it a lot. I halfway came in expecting to hate just because of the image of Genos, who I mistook trying to be hard edge, but I was wrong. I heard the concept over the net so I wasn't completely going in blank. I thought the first episode was okay, but why did his entire face changed after his training? His chin got round and his eyes are half circles. He doesn't look like the same person at all. That first episode was okay, but the 3rd kept me. I think the weak point was him taking up a disciple and hearing him being called sensei.
This show is pretty damn funny and has some intense action. I like how One Punch Man cuts off villains when they're monologuing, that shit does get tired sometimes and how he effortless defeats everyone is so dope.
Yo, when Mumen Rider first showed up
Speaking of which, the Hero Association is pretty cool. A lot of colorful characters in it and I suspect a few of them might actually be villains. I wish Genos got a bit more wins, he basically only got 1 this season.
Pretty good shit though all around. I just wish there was an English dub and that the black guy wasn't drawn like that. I assume there's a season 2 already, but it's just not on Netflix.

In episode 12 I was surprised it actually took him more than one hit to beat that alien. I knew he still would've won.

I thought that dude died. I mean he was on the floor with blood leaking through his helmet. It killed the comedy when it revealed he was still alive at the end of the episode.
