A Japanese Converter Will Let You Use Switch Controllers on Your PS4.

A Japanese company has created a small device that allows Nintendo Switch controllers to work with PlayStation 4. The 'Super Converter', which will only be purchasable from Japan, plugs into your PS4 via USB and can convert the wireless signals from Nintendo's Joy-Cons or the Switch Pro Controller.

It also works the other way around, too; you can use the converter to allow your DualShock 4 PS4 pad to speak to your Switch. Compatibility even goes as far back as Wii and Wii U controllers, so if you really wanted to, you could play Horizon: Zero Dawn with a Wii remote. Good luck with that one.

In all seriousness, this is quite a nifty device. This particular example launches in Japan this summer, but similar converters are already available from the likes of 8BitDo and Brook. So, if you feel like swapping controllers, it seems you have a few options. What do you think of this functionality? Would this be something you'd use? Switch things up in the comments below.
