He will only have support for as long as he's useful to the party. They're probably chomping at the big to get Pence in as president... Though they'd be fucked at least until 2020 as a party, there's still plenty of time to do irreparable damage to the country.
I was talking about gorsisch. trump is a radioactive turd that is also on fire and screaming louder than a jet engine. If the Republican party could somehow teleport him into the sun, they'd do it before the next half hour has passed. They despise him, but they also hate everything and everyone except money, power, and people who are useful to them. And for now, as long as legality isn't involved, he's a sitting President, and he's useful.
