Just announced during their GDC show.

Retail price should be $1500.

Edit: Anandtech did a guestimate towards the specs of the card.

Downgrade to GDDR3 if old.

well isn't that an interesting thing ya got here.

slightly less interesting price tag ya got there.

defacto single card performance leader for the foreseeable future?

Title is a bit misleading, 16TF though is a multiple GPU which means that it comes with all the problem that crossfire usually has

This is a card targeted at VR. If that is the case it is almost certainly using LiquidVR for its multiple GPU rendering.

Wish it were single GPU at 16 TFLOPS.

Although I heard the TFLOPS that AMD measures is different than nVIDIA?

I was always planning to hold off on VR until I could run it at 8K/90FPS per eye. I thought I'd have a decade to save up.

Clearly this might be an overestimation of the time frame that is going to be required

The timing of this product suggests 2016 will not debut the big die Pascals and Polaris. 980Ti owners can rest easy.
