As an adult who lives alone what do you do when you get really sick?

If I am just really sick but I know I do not need medical attention I stay at home and just play video games. If I need medicine I go and get it. I have never been so sick as an adult to the point where I felt I needed to go to the hospital.

I've been living alone for most of my life:
3 yrs ago I fell in the bathroom- hit my head on the floor and passed out. I woke up with a broken ankle. Eventually I hopped to the computer chair (on wheels)- called 911. Rolled myself to the door and unlocked it. They came in about 5 mins- they put me in a stretcher and carried me down the stairs to the ambulance.
You need to get it done, you'll do it. It was either that or die in my apartment.
