Yeah, but I don't think it's a big deal if anyone does it. My real name is easily accessible to anyone online and I haven't been murdered or had 50 pizzas ordered to my house. Though a pepperoni and green chili one would be nice right now if anyone wants. :lol

Just because nothing bad happened yet doesn't mean that it's risk free. For example, a person may keep their door unlocked and have never been robbed but that's generally not a good idea either. It would be hasty to use your personal experience to make assumptions about what would happen to millions of others who adopted this policy, especially when there's an inherent risk associated with it.
