Capcom Planning on Developing a New Monster Hunter for Younger Audiences

During a recent Q&A with investors, Capcom said that they do indeed have plans to develop a new game in the series for younger audiences- more specifically, “junior and senior high school students.” They also said, however, that they have no plans to bring Monster Hunter World to the Switch.

“Currently, we are not planning to deploy Monster Hunter World on the Nintendo Switch,” the company said. “We are planning to develop a Monster Hunter that can be enjoyed by junior and senior high school students, and look forward to future developments.”
