I don't see what the issue is with releasing MvC1 after 2 was released. While 2 is more popular, 1 is good in it's own way.

Ya, it was very much a nostalgia cash grab. MVC1 is actually my least favorite marvel game. They were hoping to strike gold from the people who bought mvc2.

So I bought this despite my hatred for links to support the Darkstalkers community and...well, I love Hsien-Ko. I like the tutorials but I have a question. Can we change the way they call the buttons Jab, Short or whatever? I really hate it.

People have been using that from the sf2 arcades day. I just dont see it changing. I'm not a huge fan of lk mk hk or even saying those words.

It's always been jab, strong, fierce, short, forward, roundhouse, and I hope it never changes. I'm also not a fan of the lk, mk, hk annotations.

Short/forward/roundhouse and lk/mk/hk are both fine with me.

That said, I rage a little when I see lk and hk expanded to "low kick" and "high kick" respectively, instead of "light kick" and "heavy kick"/"hard kick".

I don't have a problem with them releasing MvC1 at all.
I'd love to see a release of CvS1 or Pro, even if it does feel to many people like CvS2 is just around the corner,
but nobody would be under any illusion that CvS2 would vastly outsell 1/Pro, no matter which is released first.

Nostalgia/historical interest will only sell to a very select group. New players will gravitate towards the games with a proven pedigree and larger, more competitive communities.
Releasing Origins after MvC2, even as a 2 in 1, and then moaning that you're disappointed it didn't sell as well is what I really don't get.
I realize that may not have come through in my original post.

You just need to be able to do Tenraiha...which is LK HK MP MP UP(yes, it's a demon input)...and it's tough to get/time at first. the only links you'll really need with her is sometimes linking clk into another clk for hit confirming into tenraiha.

Darkstalkers Death & Rebirth, the Darkstalkers major in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a two day major, today being the first day so keep that in mind!
