Get Bloodborne. DS2 is the weakest of the Souls games and not a good introduction imo.
It's not BAD and if you really don't want to spend more money you can still go for it, but there are better options.

Honestly you should just start with Dark Souls 1 on PC.

I like Dark Souls 2 more than Bloodborne, but it depends on what you enjoy about these games. I love the online features, and Bloodborne is very disappointing when it comes to those.

I would start with Dark Souls 1 though, if you still have a last gen console around.

No, because Bad Blood is on sale separately and cheaper. It's the only story DLC there is, the rest of the season pass are pre-order bonuses. Get Bad Blood if you enjoyed Watch Dogs.

No, you must have Plus on the account that you are buying from. Sucks because US gets better discounts and I don't have Plus on that one.

Finally a decent price on Dark Souls 2 for PS4, that game for some stupid reason is $76 in my local store now it is much much cheaper, it is about $25 now with the special, about damn time, bought.

Buy DC season pass, it's a steal. Nothing else interests me even a little this week, DS2 is still too expensive for a digital release of a previous gen game that I already played and didn't enjoy that much (boy, that was a mouthfull).

Both are fine games. DS2 is closer to the core Souls experience, Bloodborne is more action-oriented.
Buy both!

Will probably pick up the rocket league dlc, can't see anything else that I want I think.
WIsh more dlc went on sale more often though, there's admittidly a lot of dlc I want for games I really enjoyed but I find a lot of it expensive for what it is so never take the plunge.

I've been thinking about DSII for a while now as I loved Bloodborne but everytime I was about to bite I read how disappointing it was. Guess I'll just try it now, price is good.

I think this is coming from a minority of gamers that had expectations it would top DS1, which it didn't, but everyone agrees it's a great game it seems.

Start with DS1 if you want to really get into them. Save for BB GOTY for a great experience.
Play DS2 after DS1 to appreciate the series even more.

I consider BB to be closer to its own thing, so if you were thinking DS2 or BB, I'd say definitely BB.

Play it. Even though I thought it was the weakest entry in the series, I definitely had a lot of fun with it and I wouldn't consider it 'a disappointment.' Just don't have expectations like 'leaps ahead of DS1/BB' or things like that and you will enjoy it a lot. There were moments that I felt they nailed the atmosphere of the souls game really well.

The 'Was' prices listed appear to actually be the 'Now' prices and not the original prices before the discount. At least for some.

eg:
"Far Cry 4
20% off for non-PS Plus members; 40% off for PS Plus members
Was €39.99/£34.99/AU$54.95"

It is showing up in the discount section for $54.95 and I don't think it is that price normally.

That's not true. It's not a bad game by any means, but it has some terrible design decisions compared to the other Souls games which most people agree with.

The linear world design and the mostly humanoid bosses or the "more enemies" bosses are the most glaring issues. It's good, but not "great" when compared to the other games.

The reductions don't appear to actually be live yet (at least in the UK).

I see. They are in the discount section though (Australia). I mean Far Cry 4, Lego Jurassic World, some others too at the 'Was' price. Good thing I didn't buy it as soon as I saw it there. Thank you. :)

Btw, if you don't have driveclub it's cheaper to straight up buy it with the season pass. Great deal for those that have the game though.

The way they structured the world in DS2 was really disapointing, they also made DS2 harder by adding a lot of cheap death placements, just for the sake of being hard.

It's by no means a bad game but it's, at least to me, the worst in the Souls series so far. Granted, I didn't play this version of the game (played DS2 vanilla + DLC's) but I doubt I'll change my opinion.

No, DC Bikes is essentially a standalone spinoff which is woven into Driveclub proper if you already own that.
