FWIW, the frame rate on the PS2 version is goddamn rough. I'm not normally sensitive to this stuff, but I'd wager this spends a lot of time around 20fps, if not lower at times.

Kinda tempted with Samurai Warriors 4 for $15, I had a bit of fun with Next on Vita, though partially just because of the rocking soundtrack.

Nothing for me this time. I was looking at Dragon Age Inquisition at £6 but at this point I'd just be adding to my backlog and never playing it.

I will have pick it up at some point though as I own all the expansion packs due to previously installing the retail GOTY edition and never actually starting it.

Axiom Verge, Uncharted Collection, Ratchet and Clank, Gravity Rush HD & The Heavy Rain Collection are all worth a look at those prices if you don't already own them.

Unless the game is heavily marketed via outside sources and there is good buzz about it does not seem to do well on PSN (It is almost normal for many smaller digital games to drop price within a month nowadays). Filthy Lucre, Hue and RIVE are all very recent releases that have suffered the same fate.

Virginia is at least under 20,000 on Steam. Not horrible but not great. It is getting savaged in customer reviews thought due to its kinda preposterous ending (that I liked). None of this is helping the mass flock to the game.

Yeah, I definitely agree with this, although I don't know how they'd solve it. They obviously sell storefront panels to big publishers for games like Battlefield, Watch Dogs etc, meaning that a lot of the time if you want to see what's out you need to look under 'Latest Releases'.

Also: if anyone wants a laugh, THQ Nordic have just released Destroy All Humans! as a PS2onPS4 classic for £16!! Bearing in mind some launch for £8 and some for £12.

It is twoish hours and an excellent palate cleanser between two other bigger titles you would spend much longer with. If you want all trophies you will need two playthroughs.

It's a really interesting unique game. It distills what could be a much longer story into the most interesting narrative beats and hammers them out in double quick fashion. it feels very authored. The creators are confident enough to show you what they believe is important about the game, and quickly move on from that.

It sadly has a beyond nonsense messy ending that throws too many thematic layers at you far too fast to make any sense of what is happening. This is the game's biggest letdown.

Nevertheless I still liked the game. Although in saying that, it may be cliche to say, but it is not a game for everyone. It is probably worth a chance at the price.

Scholarship edition (the 360 version) is a better version of the game anyway. It has some new, fun story missions as well as more classes.

No Yakuza 4. Garbage sale

It's such a tease that it pretty never much goes on sale without a ps+ discount, I dont pay for the service as I am PC/PS3 only. Yakuza 4+5 are my two most sought after games to play on my PS3 after I brought one months ago, but they never go on sale. I'm giving it till xmas sale before I cave in and buy yakuza 4 at it's normal price.

It's normal price on EU PSN isnt too bad, but its like playing russain roulette trying to see when it MIGHT be on sale.

I see some PS2 classics that might be worth getting. I know it's possible to get an EU account and a US account to run on the same ps4, so I might pull the trigger. Anybody here do that?

Also- is it worth getting a trial ps+ for a UK account in order to get deeper discounts?

Is Oceanhorn worth a punt? Just checked out a video and it reminds me of Zelda. Any one played it?

It's a decent game. Budget, wannabe Zelda that has a fair amount of charm. Levels are a little minecrafty (by which I mean they're built from the same building blocks but with different biomes) but there's some puzzles (they're simple), fun little bosses and a range of islands. I like it, I haven't finished it yet but I'd say if you like cartoony platform/action/adventure games then it's worth it at that price.

Worth playing?

It doesn't have anything even remotely resembling the major set pieces from the main games, just your basic cover shooting and platforming, but it controls well enough (particularly with gyro aiming), and even a below-average entry to the Uncharted series is still fun to play, so I'd say it's worth a go.

There's a fair amount of touch control stuff, which may or may not count for or against the game depending on your attitude towards that sort of thing.
