Nice. This guy is funny. I am not much into his CC show The Meltdown as it seems too scripted but tried to play off spontaneous. However he just did this week's episode of Garfunkel and Oates and was great in it. By the way that show is great, very clever. Really reminds me of Flight of the Concords.

Cannibal Corpse's singer George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher is a huge WoW fan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cW_Lv0r-l4c

For the Horde! :)

He used to play on my server, I only know because once people found out they wouldn't shut up about it on our server forum. Listening to that interview, and considering I knew everybody on Burning Blade back then, wouldn't surprise me if I'd still recognize the names of his characters (if I knew what they were).

Stephen Fry was very into some early video games, but does not appear to play many modern ones (my interpretation of the video):

Also, sort of, Conan O'Brien, Ice-T and Dave Chapelle(is/was a huge WoW nerd)

Honorable mention. Whoopi Goldberg made me a fan of hers for this video, which I think everyone should see:

RICK FOX says Pro Gamers Are Athletes on 'The View'

Man.. Videogames as an art form? Absofuckinglutely. As an acceptable medium to tell an emotional story? Sure.

I'll stick up for videogames any day of the week against the negative social stigma it has with a large part of the population.

Videogamers as athletes? I just can't defend or wrap my head around that.

Professional gamers sure. After all there are professional chess players. But let's not call them athletes.

Masi Oka (Played Hiro Nakamura on "Heroes") from Wikipedia:

He was at one time a leader of the raiding guild Dawn of Valor (Spinebreaker US realm) in World of Warcraft, a popular MMORPG video game. [20] His player character was named Kamiosa, an anagram of his real name.

From Kotaku:

Entering the press room at BlizzCon 2010 late Saturday afternoon, I overheard one of Blizzard's PR people arguing that Final Fantasy XIII was the best in the series. I couldn't help but get involved. Neither could Heroes star Masi Oka.

I didn't get involved in the conversation because Masi was standing there. I got involved in the conversation because someone, who shall remain nameless, was calling Final Fantasy XIII the best game in the Final Fantasy series.

As I approached, an attractive Asian female started to loudly argue that Final Fantasy VII was the greatest game in the series, hands-down. The Blizzard PR rep argued that it was overrated. I crassly commented that Final Fantasy VII was only popular because teen girls want to see Cloud and Sephiroth making out.

The argument went on for nearly a full minute before I realized I was in a Final Fantasy discussion with Hiro Nakamura and his female companion. I wasn't even sure it was him until he held out his hand and offered, "Hi! I'm Masi."

5. REMEMBER ME - Unique female leading character in futuristic action game

Eliza went to a high school not too far from me. She seems pretty grounded for a sort of B tier celeb.

Chuck in general had a bunch of gamers involved. Not only is Zachary Levi a legit gamer but so is Josh Gomez and Adam Baldwin and I forget where I saw it but I'm pretty sure Yvonne Strahovski has mentioned that she enjoys gaming as well.

I hear she enjoys Mass Effect.

Off topic: This is exactly the reason of why I like achievements/trophies. No more taking photos to myself to keep the record of what I conquered.

On-Topic: Nathan Fillion even plays games on his tv series "Castle". I saw him playing Starhawk.

I never said I'd watch, but they make a cute couple. A bit of brother on brother action is pretty standard in gay porn. It's just a bit of light-hearted bumming.

Blinded by the luminous glory that is David Bowie's physical manifestation.
Robert Kazinsky (the Aussie son/pilot from Pacific Rim) is an avid WoW player, and he said getting to be in the Warcraft film was incredible but tough because he'd fanboy so hard at times.

Much like videogames as art is an OPINION, in MY OPINION the types of people who play DOTA2 and have training houses where they are setup by their sponsors where they live for months at a time to ONLY play that game? Why is it so hard to fathom? :/

Think about it this way: Is a person who sits in a chair flying an unmanned drone 5,000 miles away from the combat area still considered a soldier?
