there's no money or points on the line though right? you're just trying to get into the actual premier event (regional finals). there doesn't seem to be a reason to enter unless you want to be seeded differently maybe or you just want some more practice.

$3000 to first place for last chance qualifiers ($5000) total. $7000 for the actual tournament, ($15000).

Some of the same people that were wondering and complaining about not enough people were signing up for the NA finals are now complaining about internationals that might gatekeep and take their money.

Yeah, so there is definitely as much prize money to win in the last chance qualifier. It makes no sense to harp on internationals at the NA finals if players like Du, Justin, Julio, etc... are all gatekeeping too. The only difference is that the internationals have a chance at gatekeeping earlier. However, as there is money on the line I don't really like to call it gatekeeping.
