Why? It's the only screen shot of an environment released so far.OP - Remove that image from the first post, it's hardly representative of the game and it's giving the wrong impression.

what motion?
Alan Wake was 720p 2xMSAA at E3 2009 and in Bungie situation...Well, they made pretty bad decisions regarding Halo 3 and lighting approach in that game so I guess my doubt was pretty justified. Also, you sound butthurth over nothing, there are lots of games that run at 720p and look better than both of those so i think there is just more to it. You CAN achieve 720p, its just that its hard when you constantly update old engine or do wrong decisions like in both of those accounts.Do you think that it would've been that easy to get a 1280*720 framebuffer and Bungie didn't do it? You did the same question at the American Nightmare thread suggesting that they should drop the 4xAA to up the res at 720p.
Do you seriously think that such a thing will be that simple and Bungie & Remedy are in some way incapable of doing this? or are you implying that the above devs didn't want the best possible IQ for their games?
For someone who looks interested in tech in games you come out as pretty ignorant about the limitations of the 360 hardware and especially edram which is pretty much the bottleneck in both situations.
Bwhahahaha that screen.
see a few posts below yours. jesus fuck shit wow. and this is multi, cant wait to see sp!

Yea, they made such a good decision that they dropped it in next game saying it was wrong. Hmm...no they didn't. Halo 3's lighting was worth the drop in IQ. Halo 3's lighting was incredible... and really worked to make Halo 3 something special beyond a lesser lighting technique with cleaner textures.

What mean the Master Chief close up shot?

Probably the corridor shot..
Looks like Halo 3's teaser shots / video. I hate teaser shots. Just wait a little longer and show us something interesting.
Looks good, waiting for a grittier/more detailed halo since the first game.
Fable Heroes was supposed to look like Halo? Damn, that Molyneux really is a visionary. At least it looks like Halo unlike that game Fable Heroes lol.

Well, it still has that Halo look about it, nothing is drastically different or new...And it doesn't that different from Halo Reach.
That said, 6 year old hardware and all.
Looks like Halo alright
...
I don't get this. It is Halo. Of course it looks like Halo.

That said, it appears they are doing a ton of things different as well.
On the good and the bad parts. Bungie was a creative developer, but they were never creating technical marvelpieces. When I look at these rough and jagged graphics, It makes me think of The Conduit, which was a Wii game. Man, I Can't wait for Next Xbox.
