This is the epitome of a cat at ease with life itself. Good job kitty owner
Yes, I can.
Our little Muffin
Old man cat that has arthritis and hobbles when he walks. Takes forever to climb up and down the stairs
Whenever the other cats try to play with him he smacks them away, lol. He was never very smart. When he was younger he used to run headfirst into the walls at breakneck speed sometimes.
Out of date.

This is a good thread for today. I was out looking at garage sales, and there was a poor cat right at the curb on the side of the road who had been hit. Someone was picking him up, as he looked like he'd passed a while ago. He wasn't gory or anything. Just looked like a sleeping cat. It was depressing---never actually seen a hit cat before. Now I'm back home, so I can cuddle my cats.
My girlfriend is a vet tech, and she loves to have us foster cats until they can find a good home. This little guy's name is Malcolm. He had a rough life at a landfill. Someone went to catch him and his brothers/sisters that were there, and he was the only one they could catch. He was so sick and weak, he could hardly run. This is a picture of the night they got him at the clinic. Would hardly walk, open his eyes, barely touched food or water.
Where she works did their best for him, kind of, but it seemed like he wasn't going to make it without a lot of TLC. My girlfriend was afraid if she didn't bring him home, they would simply put him to sleep. So she brought him home, and babied the hell out of him. There was a period where we thought we'd wake up the next day and he'd be gone.
Luckily, he finally started getting better. And after about 2-3 weeks of care, and her bringing home IVs and what else for him, he turned into an actual kitten. It was hard getting rid of him when a family finally came along as we'd grown attached, but his new owner sends us pictures of him every once-in-a-while. This one made me particularly happy:
