Gaffers with YouTube Gaming Channels

I basically upload PC games maxed out at 60 fps (Youtube patch isn't up yet). I am constantly updating with more videos and have games like Witcher 3 and Metro Redux pre ordered for day one videos. The entire premise of the channel is pure gameplay without anyone's face or voice over it. Subscribers would be awesome as would criticism.

Here is my channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/Examined100/videos

I mostly upload videos per request by members here on GAF, or just a random clip here and there. I usually get Nintendo games in for coverage purpose several weeks early, so footage of Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 1/2, Smash Bros. Wii U, etc.. will appear on the channel over the next several months. As mentioned above, I'll take requests for stages, characters, and all that from members here.

I started this channel off a couple months ago, where we do normal lets plays and then I animate our gaming experience to be as hyperbolic as possible. We're supposed to be game characters ourselves playing other games, so the animation is semi 8-bit in nature. The end result turned out well, but it was too much of my time so I haven't been able to move onto making a second episode. Feel free to give me your crit though Gaf, Im hoping to eventually make more. (I already know we take up too much of the screen :D )

I just got the approval to begin posting on the forum but I've been lurking for a while.

My Youtube channel is where I put videos in support of my main blog so it is all about that often forgotten corner of modern gaming, coin-op arcade machines. A lot of the older videos are just raw cuts but last year I finally bought an editing program so I could improve the quality of the content.

I started the channel before Arcade Heroes though so the user name isn't associated with that:

OMG this is hilarious man. I lost it at the 'Surviving Hell for DUMMIES' bit.

Some of you dudes have really good channels.

Would any other GAFfers be interested in creating a small network using the "Featured Channels" subsection on your main page, to promote other GAFfers channels?

I've started uploading much more content to my channel now. I'm doing a Resident Evil 2 LP that I'm particularly happy with. Any feedback would be fantastic.

I have a YouTube channel that acts as the video channel for my blog. I have my own web series of videos called Retro Reminisce where I revisit classic games and educate people on them. I'm still trying to beef up my video editing skills but so far I'm pretty proud of my two recent episodes.

I also upload live stream highlights and other stuff. Check it out; I would love some feedback.

I started recording some stuff for kicks, but I'm an extreme novice and I had a couple of questions that maybe someone can help me out with.

1. I put up a brief clip of New Vegas as a test and it got a copyright claim for music. YT told me the time at which the music in question kicked in and offered to fix it, which I was assuming would mean the video would be muted, but it was exactly the same after it had finished processing. I know a copyright claim isn't a copyright strike, and I didn't have the video monetized, but what's the proper course of action when this happens? Also, what about allowing for ads? I had it set not to, but I'm not sure if that's right.

2. I see that some people like commentary and others don't, and on speeddemosarchive I know they have alternate audio tracks. Is that a thing you can do on YT, and how is it done? I'm just using OBS and a blue snowball.

I know that LeMaximilian has a channel but I was wondering if any other folks here have their own YouTube gaming channels that I could check out.

Edit:

I'm thinking of starting a new one with a friend where we go back and play games that would be considered "modern classics" i.e. older games but not old enough to be considered retro games. Games like Republic Commando and KOTOR 1.

I have a twitch & youtube channel. "Mr Shiznit Gaming" would love to see some gaffers :)

I have a youtube channel where I post random gaming videos including highlights from previous twitch boradcasts (www.twitch.tv/djkippling) and other funny / epic moments from my gaming sessions.

I tried doing a couple of 'lets play' style videos but they didn't seem to go too well so I'm sticking to random highlights and such for now.

I also post my music such as original songs and remixes and DJ sets on there. :)

So to revive an old thread full of great channels
(excluding my previous post)
I give you a new horrible one.

A friend and I have gone on to start a new Youtube channel. We sometimes tell stupid jokes over video games but also, it's basically me, a long time all around video game fan
(who's horrible at what he claims to be a "fan" of)
, showing older, overlooked and/or lesser known video games to my friend who's more into modern games. I can get a bit too "explain-y" sometimes so I apologize. On the flip side, we also do some well known newer games as well but we've only just started so there's lots to cover. We're still kind of working out the kinks but I hope at least someone can enjoy it heh.

Anyway,it's called Skullsplosion.
