Ecco the Dolphin for the Genesis was pretty scary, especially towards the end.

Chakan for the Genesis too. Although that one was more disturbing than actually scary. The sound tech of the Genesis was perfect for scary games.

My mind immediately went to the blue whale in ecco the dolphin. Fuck that thing.

I have a fear of underwater things but mostly pictures of them. Why I picked up Ecco 2 I have no clue. I thought I could handle it. I played the last level across the room barely looking at the screen but I had to finish this total horror show.


Fatal frame 2 scared me in my 20s. It may still.
