Another year that I was very tempted to go but I'll pass since it could get expensive with travelling.

Hoping for some photos for a couple of friends who live there. Last year It seemed there was a LOT of people, I mean, way more people than it should. People fainting and all that.

Great thread. It'll be very useful for me :D

PS: Sony also has listed Move Title I and Move Title II, and Capcom has an unannounced game (MH3G?).

they had to close the entry gates from time to time, cause of to many people wanting to enter i read. Hopefully the weather will be shit and therefore cold like the whole damn summer this year
6,50€ for students and pupils is a fair price for one day. If i remember the good old AnimagiC times 2003-2006... so pricey

I haven't heard about this yet. Where to find?

The Move Titles are listed on the Sony hands on schedule for the press, sorry but I can't post it.

It's strange because the other games are listed right (The Unfinished Swan, PSAS: BR, The Last of Us, CoD Declassified, Sly Cooper...) but these two games don't have a name, just Move Title.

The Capcom game was mentioned in a mail:

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=40821365&postcount=261

You can follow the thread since here (MH prizes in gamescom, unannounced game, Capcom trying to get in contact with MH fansites...):

Okay that capcom thing sounds good, I'll add it to the OP.

But are you sure the two unannouced Sony titles aren't the two Move titles you mentioned? I've re-checked the press schedule and haven't found "unannounced -Move- titles"...

Yeah, could be. I don't know if they are the same games or not, I only know they have two Move games without a name.

Wasn't there a rumor about Ready at Dawn developing a Move game? Maybe it's one of them.

Added Deep Silver with Sacred Citadel and Geheimakte 3.

Cleared up some things about Sega. Business only. Aliens: Colonial Marines and Total War: Rome II are no-show. No presser.

2+2=5

The Amiga Brotherhood
So far for us vita peasants there are:

Sony:
PlayStation AllStars: Battle Royale
Call of Duty. Declassified
Soul Sacrifice
Little Big Planet (Franchise Update)
Unannounced Title(hope never dies)
Unannounced Title(hope never dies)

konami(if not cancelled):

EDIT:
already shown a wrc3 trailer but with no vita footage :(

I reckon Sports Champions 2 will be there?

EDIT: I will be there anyway. :)

Will be there as a Move fan, but also Vita of course ... looks like a lot of big, playable stuff for Vita, looks good!

If someone's going to Capcom's event, kick them in the nuts for me if they don't announce MH3G or MH4.

No, not for me, do it for everyone who ever posted in a MH thread here.

Looking for other good players to play with at the Firefall tournament. Message me on twitter @HazardVG if you are interested or reply here (I know many lurk). Myself and 1 more are very solid.

This thing is 2 hours away from where I'm at! But it may be impossible to go, what with the possible long line waiting and need of transportation.

If I'm able, Thursday might be my only chance of going.

If there's anything you're interested in that is 18+, then get there early, make sure you know where it is, and run. Lines will be insanely long in no time and these lines suck worse than most because you can't see much while waiting as everything 18+ is closed off. If there are long lines for getting a 18+ bracelet/badge or whatever, you may be able to get it faster inside and win some time that way, depending.

Otherwise, what are you interested in?

Here's my first video. Other videos are being uploaded to the same account, all gameplay.

Wii U Rayman Legends
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmyvzgyBC5c&feature=youtu.be

Vita Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation
I want to kill myself that I didn't manage to get it sharp. :( Because it actually looks amazing! I think it's native and it's beautiful. It probably looks better than Uncharted as a result, and giving the nature of this game, that's incredible.

Vita Street Fighter x Tekken
Looks beautiful.

Vita Smart As
Shaping up suprisingly well. Caught a nice crash too. ;) If they polish the framerate a bit, and get the 7 to be more easily recogniseable, then I think they have a (moderate) winner here, very nice, especially now that John Cleese is doing the voice overs.

Thanks. I have no idea where the bracelet line for that is though.

None of those interest me that much. Will checkout BL2, hop over to shootmania, then Firefall. Got some eSports $$$ to win.
Will wander around after I get seeded.
I think I might be able to go too. I want to buy the tickets online, but I only have an American card. I'm scared of traveling to the city and wait in line because what if it's sold out?
You can call your bank and they can approve your card for overseas. I think it takes like 24 hours, but it could vary.

I highly doubt Thrus tickets will sell out though.

Going in a gray t-shirt and khaki shorts today, black shoes.

Look like a chinese mafia thug (a little bit). Most likely find me around the Firefall booth.

I only had 5-6 hours to check out the expo since I have to fly back to the US tomorrow.

Unfortunately, Maastricht was right. The biggest Mature-rated games were impossible to wait at (the Assassin's Creed III area's wait time alone is said to have been 300 minutes). So I couldn't try out Metal Gear Solid Revengence, Dishonored or even Borderlands 2.

I did check out Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Playstation All Stars, Rayman Legends, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Injustice: Gods Among Us (Plays like Mortal Kombat, especially since it's from the same company), Tank! Tank! Tank! (The Wii U game), Wonderbook (no idea why) and one of the odd mobile games from the Gree booth called Monpla Smash (which almost resembles Pokemon, but not much; I'll have to look that up later).

Ultimately, what little time I had at Gamescom was still worth it for the atmosphere and experience alone. If given the chance, I'll definitely have to go again for the whole event, and much more prepared next time.

I'll upload the videos of my exploration tonight or Sunday.

So today i went to Gamescom with my gf.

My girlfriend has a foot injury and is walking on crutches a few months now (it will get better tho). But this made it my best visit to gamescom yet.

we could SKIP every single waitingline.
everytime we went to queu a rep came over and said 'follow me', boom skipped 300 mins of waiting. So we checked out all the games we wanted to see in a matter of hours. pretty cool :)

Sounds like you owe her big time. Wished I'd at least check out the Borderlands 2 booth. I plan to get that game next month.

You are crazy dude. Shoulda showed people your return ticket.

BL2 was a reserve and robot area with all 4 characters available.
I'll check out PSASBR as it seem bad, but maybe it plays good.

Yeah I see a lot of places for the movement impared getting swag service. Nice :)

I hope one day I might be able to talk to some of the organisers and ask them to change this so they dedicate some halls to all ages and some to 18+. It is annoying for developers slightly because they'll be in different locations, but it would really be a much better setup. Just being able to see the game you're waiting in line for being played by others would make all the difference.

and one of the odd mobile games from the Gree booth called Monpla Smash (which almost resembles Pokemon, but not much; I'll have to look that up later).

I actually took one of the main developers of this game to see my city as I knew him from the Beyond3D forum and this was his first visit to Europe. Game seems to be quite interesting ... it is indeed somewhat Pokemon like, presented in an interesting form of 2.5D. You battle using several monsters at once, and collect and power up and everything.

I hear Gree makes more profit than the big three consoles combined, by the way.

I'll upload the videos of my exploration tonight or Sunday.

Look forward to it. I've just put all my other videos in the queue just now. Don't know if there's much people will find interesting, but you never know. :)

Will post some more detailed impressions of the games later, going to go to bed now, catch up some sleep and prepare for a hot weekend (34 C is not something we're used to over here)
