Letter distribution investigation:
English:
QQ UUU EEE JJJ KK II P H M
French:
QQQQ JJJJJJ FFFFF RRRR TTTT HH UU E C N
Portuguese:
MMMM LLL HHHHHH DDD KK I N O R
Spanish:
QQ JJJJJ FFF OO L T R P I
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Letter_frequency#Relative_frequencies_of_letters_in_other_languages would seem worth a look. I'm very curious about all those H's on the portuguese side. I'm also struck about the fact that I always (probably somewhat ignorantly) thought that Portuguese was kinda close to spanish, but the letter distribution here is *wildly* different.
