The patch file has a src.fwd file.

Delete the src.fwd from the hatoful folder, then replace it with the one from the patch.

Hmmm... I'm not really sure what the translators were thinking when they changed it then. It just sounds really strange to be talking about your own death (and in that manner).

I think the game always stays in first person on purpose, it even toys with that point of view.

Anyone got a solution? My only guess is that I need to add a Japanese language pack to Windows 7 because it still uses a Japanese font, but 7 Home won't let me do that apparently.

I did exactly this and I have the same result as him... RAGE! I want to make some birds into my husbandooooo! I do have a recent version of Quicktime installed.... HELP!

EDIT : Got it working on my own, I "just" had to install East-Asians language for non Unicode text. And Bam! With the patch already installed the game is in english. Though the menus are still in japanese... Still better than nothing while waiting for the official english release.
