Wanting the devs of Homeworld 1 to make Homeworld 3 isn't unfair even if it is totally unrealistic.

Out of interest, was anyone here a big fan of HW2? I didn't feel like it stood anywhere close to the standards of the original but I was really in it for the singleplayer while 2 seems to have had much more of a multiplayer focus (relatively).

HW2 isn't as good as HW1 from innovation point (especially after Cataclysm) but did a fine job making Homeworld and Homeworld game we love. Game has robust modding community which release new content every month. And Complex is probably one of the best mods in gaming.

It is shame that engine of HW2 have a big problems with modern PCs. Complex mod especially is problematic to handle

I think they will announce all new owners/new IP holders in May or something.


I hope Deep Silver got Red Faction.

Stardock was the 2nd highest bidder(Brad Wardell's twitter)- so not them.

Also, apparently Paradox was 3rd highest.

My guess is SEGA won the bid.
