Thank you for your continued patronage of our products.

We have decided to terminate development and sales of our products as of August 18, 2023.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our customers who have patronized our products and sincerely apologize for this announcement.

Along with the termination of activities, the following services will also be discontinued sequentially.

July 14: Suspension of weekly updates to the official website
Mail member contents update ends
August 1: Sales of official mail order download version products will end.
August 18: Sales of packaged products for official mail-order will end.
Sales of downloadable products at other stores will end
Sales of Steam products will end
Official Support Ended
Update file distribution ends
Pre-order bonus distribution ended
Uploader service ended
Email membership content distribution ended
Youtube account suspended
Twitter account suspended

I cry about Xbox and hate PlayStation.
not surprising, their games still look and plays like 20 years ago.

A lot of people played their games. Not too many of them paid for them, but then again they weren't easily available for purchase outside of Japan either.

Even putting a few games on Steam wasn't a great idea by this point in time, especially given the pricing involved. Too little, too late.

Got a fair few of their games boxed, but it's always annoyed me how unnecessarily hostile they seemed to be to non-Japanese people playing their games. To this day, downloading some stuff from their servers requires a VPN, and not a popular one either as they seem to have made efforts to block those. Especially weird after they started releasing their games on Steam.

Sad to see them go though.
