Oh and it's free. You're welcome.

Here's my favorite track off a beat tape from a buddy of mine.

ELOS - Problem

Just rediscovering one of my favorite albums.

Its not instrumental but its real jazzy, low-tempo, chill music with some amazing lyrics.
Honestly, one of my favorite albums ever. I highly recommend it.
Sample

I just realized:
How the hell is Ronald Jenkees not in this thread?
Here's some samples from the new CD he's working on:
Magnetic Moment
7 Times (love this one)
Error Me Out
Early Morning May
From the Arrow Loop

As well as some of his old songs from albums he's already released:
Super-Fun
Neptune
Loui

Love this guy's music.

was just thinking of this cat the other day. "Hello youtubes!" Good to see he's still got it...7 Times and From The Arrow Loop are my favs out of that list.

I still remember him giving me props for rhyming over that Super-Fun beat like 5 years ago, lol

Insane good. I know many people will disagree with me but the the best time for good music is now. And the internet made it possible.

obviously i'm surprising no one here, but i'm inclined to agree. plenty of derivative stuff has sprung from the blurring genre lines, but a fair amount of gems, too.

This is some heat, CRS. The title track alone is so smooth, so smooth.

glad to see you got around to it too m'man! what're ya'lls favorites? there's not much weakness here for me, but i can't get enough of the title track, and just letting the 2nd half ride after that.

ps remind me again - what's witch house?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Witch_house_(music_genre)

Witch house (sometimes referred to as drag) is a music genre. The term witch house started out as a joke that was originally used to describe occult-based house music by Travis Egedy (commonly known by the stage name Pictureplane) and his friends in 2009.

It generally features a fusion of techniques rooted in Swishahouse hip hop – sluggish tempo with skipping, stop-timed beats– coupled with elements from genres such as noise, drone, and shoegaze.

It's a relatively recent genre and the term started out as a joke but it's recently been used in a more serious manner to describe music that is essentially a fusion of industrial music and hip-hop. Chopped and screwed music is the style of hip-hop that has the most influence in the genre. Right now it is still extremely underground. I personally don't see it going mainstream anytime soon with maybe a couple exceptions.

Personally, I think the first album was better.
The second does have some pretty crazy songs on it, though.
Minimal definitely is my favorite.
It's stuck in my head as I'm typing this XD

Yea, I think we could lose the jazz hop title actually. Just retitle the thread "Bandcamp Beats" then have some come up with a dope logo.
