That's fantastic. It does seem like they wrote this episode not knowing if they'd be renewed or not. But kudos to SyFy for allowing the show to go out on its own terms.
I don't think it was as good as the finale for season 2, everything felt a bit contrived and expected. But it was solid, and certainly shifts the dynamics. However if the Green Lady controls the rest of the Hullen, it doesn't seem like the war is exactly over.
