apparently it was an enciphalitis caused by some infection.

Sad, but happens. At least it wasn't some form of stress or depression that caused his death.

Yeah, I don't feel so great after watching that.

It's amazing though. Amazing that the mother knew her son will not make it very far in life. I'd say he got a second chance at life, even if it wasn't that long.

Nah, pathologist's report is just out and the major news outlets in Germany are reporting enciphalitis. I also double checked to make sure it's not an April Fool's.

No, it was probably the nasty pool of muddy / dirty water that he swam in....

stained yellowy brown by the mud and dirty water in his pathetically small enclosure. It's quite a shock when you see him.
