Why is Madden 2006 being sold there when we have Madden 2007 out here?

I always hated how they named the game that way here, the season is 2006 and ends in 2007, but I feel the release should still be Madden 2006 until nexy years release.

Ahh who am I kidding I wont play Madden again once 2K releases there game next year sight unseen it has to be better than Madden has been of late.
