Why are strippers at the U.N. bad when they're great at strip clubs???
Thanks!
It looks like the streams have crossed.
That's quite an impressive FY.

What do you expect, so? Better numbers than last year?
Place your bets, will PS4 pass WiiU's LTD in Japan by the end of the year?

You only need to look at the software sales of that fatal week:
Media Create Sales: Week 20, 2015 (May 11 - May 17)

Full week:

Only three games sold more than 10k that week, and any of them more than 20k.
This year, Kirby will probably sell more than 20k on this week, and Uncharted 4 second week should be on the same range. Yo-kai Sankokushi will be over 10k for sure too.
The top 3 will be better, there're very small chances that this week becomes worse than last year.
Still it will be the second or third worst week, though.

How interesting.
So, according to the Capcom President himself, that Monster Hunter title projected to sell 2million isn't Monster Hunter Stories, but some other different Monster Hunter title.
They didn't give one in that case.Strange. So what is their estimation here on MH stories?

They don't give estimates for games that are expected to sell less than a million...
:O

They didn't give one in that case.
We only had 2 million for "Monster Hunter", 4 million for a mystery game (presumably RE7), and 2 million for another mystery game (Capcom Vancouver?).
The comparison of Week 20, 2015 is with Week 19, 2016, the week of Uncharted. Both are the weeks after Golden Week.
I'm going to predict Monster Hunter Generations G for 3DS holiday release. I'm not expecting Capcom to wait until next March to release it, although they could chuck NX a 3-4month late port to try and quickly build a userbase on the device.I can think about two possibilities regarding the Monster Hunter title.
1. Monster Hunter Generations G (Ultimate)
Since they will launch MHGen this July on the west, I doubt they will announce this version until September the earliest. Considering this, the game might probably launch not during 2016, but early next year, and probably just in Japan for the moment.
If so, since NX's launch date is planned by the same time, a 3DS-NX multi release could be expected.
2. Monster Hunter for home consoles
For PS4, and maybe One and PC too. In that case I think they will try to appeal to the west, since this numbers are impossible for an only Japan home console game. If so, an E3 unveiled seems legit, and also a worldwide release. Numbers seem optimistic for this, but it's Capcom.
Any other guesses?

I can't really imagine anything else that would feasibly be projected at 2 million units, especially if they feel MHS won't even reach 1 million copies, and have RE7 at a modest 4 million units.
http://nippon1.co.jp/news/pdf/2016/20160513_3.pdf
Nippon Ichi mentions Steam, Playstation VR and NX in their financial results on Page 5 talking about future outlook for the next fiscal year.
Not sure if that's just them talking about changes in the overall industry or whether it's active support plans from a machine translation.

The rumored MH online for PC and PS4?
With the global Asian market included in the forecast?
I highly doubt it's MHO seeing as to how it'll most likely be either F2P or subscription based.I guess this one? Lets hope it will do well then.^~^ and this time prove that MH on consoles will sell millions.

Non-machine translation is needed
I have a gut feeling that they're retooling Deep Down and giving it another name. It makes the most sense to me.Given RE7 and CVancouver's own project, on going work on SFV, and if their other HD projects are actually still alive, who's left for a major HD project with such low expectations for a major IP? That doesn't seem right even if they are being more cautious with expectations after the SF disaster. Maybe a PS4/Vita low budget spin-off? A 3DS spin-off?
Also feel like we'd have heard about this by now.
I'll put expectations on GX for the time being as that seems like a believable figure for such a release come this holiday. And it's standard modus operandi at this point for them.
GX makes sense for a project we've not heard a word on either. It'd be a quick turn around.

2 million would be quite low for a MH title.. Yet, I don't see how reachable would that be on PS4, as some people point out.
Non-machine translation is needed
I think that Horuhe was talking about week 20 2016, that it will be one of the lowest weeks ever. So that's Uncharted 4 second's week.
I think he's using MC calendar, but he should confirm it.

Skimmed it. Doesn't really say much. They acknowledge that in the consumer game space there are increasingly more PS4 titles and the PSVR launch this year is going to be the spotlight of the industry. They also acknowledge that both domestic and overseas publishers are releasing a lot of digital stuff on PC using Steam as the main platform. They are committed to releasing more titles on Steam, including their back catalog, via NISA. But with regards to other consoles, they said they're actively looking into supporting the next generation of hardware - both PSVR and the NX, but it doesn't sound like a firm commitment.
keep in mind this is my deciphering of machine translation.
-console market is shrinking, steam is increasing
-despite this, the next generation is starting with ps vr and nx
-packaged games will continue to be main source of revenue
(this is more of an overview of the market and their place in it)
in addition, they had the following plans:
-increase support for steam (mostly for overseas stuff)
-use nippon ichi vietnam for 3d tech tools
-have nis america bring over stuff like yomawari and criminal girls
-before the end of the fiscal year, release stuff like cladun sengoku and coven (and develop 'new masterpiece' in-house
revenue:
nis america: $24.6m (72.5% of total revenue - last year they were 62.7% of total revenue)
nippon ichi group: $33.9m
net income:
nis america: $2.6m
nippon ichi group: $2m
Thanks to both. Even if they're just "actively looking into" NX, that sounds more than what I expected from them, I'm serious.
I have a gut feeling that they're retooling Deep Down and giving it another name. It makes the most sense to me.

That was also rumored to be f2p a la Dragon's Dogma Online.
I paged back through the rumors, and while they kept talking about f2p at the same time this came out, there actually wasn't a business model attached to the rumor, so you might be right. Are we talking about Frontier 2 or Online?
The latter is full F2P, but the former might be a variation of Frontier 1. Buy packages, then microtransactions.
YSO predictions
01. [3DS] Kirby: Planet Robobot < 30k (average 25k)
02. [PS4] Uncharted 4: A Thief's End < 30k (average 25k)
03. [PSV] Kenka Bancho Otome < 30k (average 25k)
00. [PS4] Homefront: The Revolution < 25k (average 20k)
00. [3DS] Boku no Hero Academia: Battle for All < 20k (average 15k)
If that Kenka Bancho prediction rings true:
[3DS] Kenka Bancho 6: Soul & Blood - 24,274
lol
An otome VN spinoff shouldn't be selling the same as that.
