Very predictable chart this week, although Mother 3 seems to have dropped a little more than expected (Dengeki did have it a fair bit lower than MC last week though so maybe they are undertracking the game a little).

I wasn't far off with my predictions from a couple of weeks back, Naruto has underperformed quite a lot (increased competition?) WSWE 10 is a tad higher than expected, like DW the series is starting to drop off although this version may still outsell 9 with the World Cup on the way (any other Football people excited??- yes that's football not soccer ), Tetris has performed solidly and should have good legs, there will be strong boosts for older DS games over Golden Week and god only knows what's going to happen when New Mario Bros arrives !!! Stronger than expecter second week for Yangus, price drops as Duckroll said last week probably helped as first week sales were so poor.

By the way to anyone who may have noticed (probably nobody but hey that's how loved I am on here :lol) I haven't been posting much lately, been busy with exams and stuff and also giving my website a huge makeover which is going to take a few weeks, so normal updates to the site may be a bit slow although I want to get a news section up and running ready for E3 to give people an alternative to the big boys as I think traffic is going to be insane.

Mario should be huge. I'd say maybe 850k first week? And the legs after that are going to be something else (250k --> 165k --> 120k --> 90k etc)

FF III can do maybe 750k and similar with Zelda.

I already ate crow in the previous thread, the one based upon Shinobi's tidbits. 2 times by the way, since I though DS' big seller was going to be Naruto 4. This does says very important thing about the demographic the console has in Japan.

No. In my opinion, Nintendo DS will not have any sort of effect on PS3's sales. It is more probably that Nintendo DS will have effects on Wii, but only a little bit.

Wii will affects on PS3's sales: this is almost sure, but we don't know in which measure this will happen !! That's the big question of Christmas 2006 !
