Start with mobile suit Gundam movie trilogy and work your way through the UC from there. DO NOT watch the zeta movies. Watch the series for that one.

Like Sci fi space epics? The Gundam UC is one of the greatest ever created, even with all its silliness and flaws.

I've seen (of the UC timeline):

--Original movie trilogy.
--0080
--08th MS (only kinda remember it)
--0083 Stardust Memory (only kinda remember it)
--Thunderbolt season 1
--The Origin eps 1-4
--Counterattack (barely remember it)

I've been told I should watch Zeta next and then maybe Unicorn.
