No it wouldn't be. If the next major WoW competitor just used the WoW client and built their own server that would not be cool.
Why is there this weird logic that you can use other peoples assets in your video games? I mean people got mad at Uncharted 4 for using a freaking picture someone else drew, but using all the wow assets? That's cool. i fail to see the logic.
