Next year is gonna be DQ-remake-a-thon-year. Personally, I think they should have saved them for when Horii and co. pass away. Get some new ones out of them first.

There are always remakes between main installments of Dragon Quest, so this is nothing new. There will probably be a few more than usual next year, though, from what I've heard.

I'm surprised that no one who went to the show as a fan posted any pictures. I went to the event on Saturday with Anoop just to look around and play some games (I played everything except FFXII RW, FFXII Zodiac and A2). Fun stuff, especially DQ Swords. They got some awesome stuff in that game. It was the first time I got my hands on it, and I really enjoyed it. I got some but I have to resize and crop some of them, but here are a batch that I needed to post because they're um... odd. In the Final Fantasy 20th Anniversary area they had a communication board where fans can write notes to the developers about what type of games they want or what games they like. The VAST majority of the notes were begging for FF7 remade on PS3... the others were asking for Romancing Saga :lol :lol :lol :lol Here are some of the other ones..

FF VI was the game that really got me into RPGs, a quite impressive story and graphics by its time. A ps3 remake would be awesome.
