Square Enix's master plan. Use FFXIII demo to sell their crap movie to everyone again and if it doesn't sell blame Sony and the PS3. :lol :lol :lol

I'm not sure what's up with every one else's tvs. But I have had sdtv's all my life and my dvd quality has never been that blurry.

Everyone on GAF has 50" TVs. DVDs are pretty close to BD up to 32", but beyond that you start to see noticeable differences.

Are you referring to Versus XIII? Because Nomura can't be held accountable for anything else, really.

Versus also seems to have the Zero Shift ability from ZoE2

Really? We've got a 40 inch Samsung LCD, with composite cables and dvd looks so amazing. I couldn't really give a shit about blu ray even when I get a ps3 unless there's some major release like a blu ray that comes with an awesome awesome demo.

FFXIII is not Nomura, that is Kitase's problem.

I am also sure that Nomura didn't decide to make 3 KH games at the same time, being on the Cellphone/DS/PSP. Just because the projects shown here have Nomura involvement does not mean he initiated them.

FFXIII, Parasite Eve 3 etc... all have heavy Kitase involvement. So if they fail will Wada hammer Kitase as well? Or is it just pick on Nomura day...

I think I have super eyesight or something. I have no trouble reading the text in Dead Rising or Lost Odyssey and I play on a 20 inch sdtv with composite cables.

My 24 inch dell monitor looks horrible with DVDs... well it was upscaled by the PS3...

Not sure if that's a difference, but then it was extremely unwatchable.

I pop in my Casino Royale BD and it is super crisp.

Anyone who is still saying "DVDs still rule" really need to get out more.

Blu-ray isn't mini disc in any kind of way. Almost every publisher are Blu exclusive now and now only is every new movie getting a Blu-ray release; there's a huge amount of old movies coming on Blu-ray too. In fact, I've read that it's even selling more than DVD did at its time. Also, the price is closing in with DVD right now. Don't forget that even DVD cost this much once.

Anime series on Blu is pretty much guaranteed in a couple of years.
