Released on Tuesday ‘Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ becomes the 9th different Lego game to debut at No1 in the All Formats Chart.

It is the 4th biggest Lego video game launch of all time, behind Indiana Jones, Marvel Super Heroes and Batman, although ‘Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy’ sold more in its second week of launch. It is also the 4th biggest launch for a Star Wars title, behind Battlefront, The Force Unleashed and Episode 3 - Revenge of the Sith. May the 4th be with it…! ‘Doom’ (-17%) slips from No1 to No4 behind solid performances from both ‘FIFA 16’ (+17%) at No2 and ‘Overwatch’ (+9%) at No3. ‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ (-19%) drops two places to No5, while Square Enix has this week’s next highest new entry with PS4 RPG ‘Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness’ new at No6. ‘Rocket League’ falls one place to No7, however sales are up an impressive 20% in its second week of launch.

The arrival of Telltale Games’ ‘7 Days to Die’ at No9 mean that there are three new games that break in to the Top 10 this week, while outside the Top 10 there are debuts for ‘The Technomancer’ at No13 and ‘Minecraft: Wii U Edition’ at No18. Price promotions on ‘Tom Clancy’s The Division’ (+72%) and ‘EA Sports UFC 2’ (+93%) push them both up the chart to No’s 10 and 14 respectively.

Love that ratchet is still in top 10 individual chart, very well-deserved!

Edit: I read in PAL thread week 25 that UC4 did around 6800 copies this week, that would make Star ocean probably 5000-6000 copies. Is this decent, bad or is UK just not into JRPGS?

Real shame the nordic charts ain't no more. I remember when Sly 4 was on them for like over 1 year for whatever reason. Would be interesting to see how Ratchet compared.

It is the 4th biggest Lego video game launch of all time, behind Indiana Jones, Marvel Super Heroes and Batman, although ‘Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy’ sold more in its second week of launch.

[Week 46, 2013] LEGO MARVEL SUPER HEROES (WARNER BROS. INTERACTIVE) - 84,400 / NEW

We know that LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is below 84,400 units, unfortunately we don't have any sales estimate for LEGO Batman: The Videogame. We may narrow down the upper limit when MCV publishes the monthly chart for the month of June.

[Week 25, 2010] LEGO HARRY POTTER: YEARS 1-4 (WARNER BROS. INTERACTIVE) - 60,000 / NEW

The minimum LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens has sold is 60,000 units since that is the amount of units LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 sold back in June 2010.

Code:
[Week 46, 2016] LEGO STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS (WARNER BROS. INTERACTIVE)

PlayStation 4 (46%)
Xbox One (28%)
Xbox 360 (13%)
PlayStation 3 (8%)
Nintendo 3DS
PlayStation Vita

The Wii U version will be released this week, another inexplicable delay for a Nintendo Wii U multiplatform title.

Mighty No. 9 only charted last week in the Wii U chart (7th) but this week is already out of the top 20. It is incredible how big of a bomb this title is, it couldn't even manage to chart in the All Formats top 40 despite being released on 5 platforms. By the way, what are the requirements for entering into the budget price chart? I couldn't find the maximum price. I ask it because Mighty No. 9 is not there either.

Congrats on the top run Uncharted 4!

Glad to see Lego SW doing well, decent opening for 7 days to die as well, higher than The Technomancer.

Ctrl+F: Mighty No. 9

damn lol.

I'm one of the few weirdos who thought the game was good and I didn't even back it and I was actually laughing at it before the release.

I'm a little surprised that Star Ocean made the top 10, regardless of actual numbers. It had much worse reviews than either Odin Sphere or TMS but did considerably better than both (note, I'm not saying it's done well).

I wonder what expectations Square had for the game. Hopefully they're low because the poor budget is visible in nearly every facet of the game.

20 out of the top 40 are PS4 games. Damn fine performance.

Happy for Ratchet & Legs to be sticking around in the top 10.

I'd like to see Star Ocean do well in the west, if purely just to illustrate that JRPGs can be relevant worldwide, and thus Japanese devs will be inspired to keep making them. Even if they're low-budget and rushed out like SO5.

Late to the party. Oh well...

Star Ocean a bit bigger than what i expect, then again like said in the last thread, considering Uncharted sold 6,800 unit this sales are still very low.

Minecraft Wii U looks about what expect.

Wow, no Tokyo Mirage Sessions in Germany's top 20. Must be because it's monthly now.

At least these charts are all formats again. weekly console-specific ones from the Gfk press release are much less informative.
