can we change clothes like in pokemon x and y?
yescan we change clothes like in pokemon x and y?
Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon are both fantastic additions to the series 20th anniversary. With an inspired new generation of Pokémon and a ton of variation, Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon are the freshest take on a tried-and-true series. However, just like a vacation, most changes are ones I hope are temporary Ill be happy to return to the formula again next year.

Anyone else's Amazon order estimated for the 22nd? That sucks so much especially since I have Prime.
When did you preorder? I've heard people who preordered the game on Amazon later gets it at a later date.Anyone else's Amazon order estimated for the 22nd? That sucks so much especially since I have Prime.
Ehh BW story was garbage though. I mean it was "good" for Pokemon but...Gamereactor (Spain) review:

9/10. "Great evolution for the series, best story since Black and White".
Mine is estimated for the 18th, but is shipping today, which has me crossing my fingers that it shows up early. Typically when I've had release-date delivery on Amazon they'd overnight it the evening before, not 3 days in advance.
I chose Sun for you.Fuuuuuuck I still haven't decided which version to get.
Mine is estimated for the 18th, but estimated to ship tomorrow. Haven't ordered a release day-shipping game since I moved here, but hoping it gets in Early .
Curious if their distribution centers are just far from you since 3 days in advance is quite a bit.

Sun has Alolan Ninetails.Fuuuuuuck I still haven't decided which version to get.
It was possible in the previous games so I think so.Can JP copies trade with EU copies?
There's a distribution center literally 20 minutes from me. We have Prime Now offered here. unless that center somehow didn't receive any shipments of Sun and Moon, that seems odd. I got charged for it and everything today!

So I've been in the leak thread this past week reading impressions, I thought if people are interested here's a summary of the pros and cons of Sun and Moon. I haven't played them myself, but here's some key points that may effect your purchase...
No specific spoilers but still tagging them in case you want to go in fresh...impressions on scope of plot, difficulty, Pokemon, music, graphics, and post-game
Plot: I've heard it has the "best plot" of a Pokemon game perhaps, with some exciting moments and such, yet at the same time this also means more linearity and pushing the player along with cutscenes. The main game is better than XY at the very least. Decent amount of classic cameos, but nothing B2W2-level.
Difficulty: I've heard the game isn't super challenging, the opponents still use less Pokemon than before, yet with the level scale system back from BW it's harder to overlevel compared to XY. At the same time the Totem Battles can be tricky with some interesting combos, the opponents now actively target weaknesses and switch, and many of the New Pokemon are on the slower side so using them means the opponent will get in an attack at least instead of you just sweeping through them.
Pokemon: Not as varied as XY, but a decent amount of classics---the New Pokemon seem to have a "Johto syndrome" where they're a bit pushed to the side in many cases with low encounter rates and such. Also they're all pretty slow, including ones who you think would be fast. Some classic Pokemon got buffs (one got a nerf), including stat upgrades and new Abilities. There's not many non-Alola Dex Pokemon available in the post-game right now, so you'll need to rely on PokeBank if you're going for 100% National Dex. There's no in-game National Dex, presumably being saved for Bank.
Music: Varied and really nice, weakness music is possibly the default battle themes but everything else is good---"best OST since Black and White".
Graphics: Frame rate still takes a dip pretty regularly, and the addition of Trainers lead presumably to the removal of Triple and Rotation as well as Hordes. Otherwise the region looks nice.
Post-game: Neat new system that makes competitive training pretty interesting and fast, though requires some set-up. Multiple Legendary Pokemon to catch and a Battle Facility that's fairly challenging. About XY-level from what I've heard. Downside is very few non-Alola Dex Pokemon to catch and not a lot of new areas that open up. Do get to rematch various major Trainers though such as Trial Captains, and use more than just 2 Pokemon like the Battle Chateau rematches in XY.
I am probably going to reset till I get a female Rowlet so I can breed easily. If anyone is going to do the same with Litten or Popplio I'd love to swap eggs at the earliest opportunity.
Waiting on the Switch version for myself but picking this up for my partner for Christmas. Glad to hear it's good

My fiancé wants to do this to get a female popplio, can you save between starting the game and getting your starter? Anyone know?
do we actually know this is a thing?

No, and it is pretty unlikely based on past Pokemon games and new Nintendo consoles.
That said, anything is possible.
Dammit. Well, according to the above post you can save before choosing your starter? Maybe it's not so bad?It takes a WHILE before you get your starter.. Maybe 30 mins.
It's really not ideal.. You may want to reconsider and just wait till you can get some ditto
Dragon Quest am criThis is going to be my last Nintendo 3DS game purchase for the system. I'm pretty happy with my solid library of games for both the DS & 3DS, but I feel I also got my fill with what's available. I might get a New Nintendo 3DS to serve as a back-up for my system, but it depends on how the older games perform on the newer hardware.
