Someone has started posting warning signs in Minneapolis, letting residents and visitors know to be wary of the police and their itchy trigger fingers.

A brilliant way to protest, IMHO. Wonder if these will start popping up in other cities.

Tried to be friendly and wave at a police officer once.

He immediately started reaching for his gun before stopping himself. Always stuck with me as "WTF" moment.

Sometimes feels like cops in this country run on paranoia.

A large part of police training in the United States is based on the premise the next interaction you have could be the one where you don't go home so stay hyperaware.

The Murder of a Cop by a Vietnam Veteran in Georgia caught on dashcam in particular is shown as an example where an officer hesitating in a situation cost him his life so don't be that cop is drilled into them.

This needs to become a new "real life meme" like Che Guevara's iconic photo, Joe Strummer's "Ignore Alien Orders", the UK's "Keep Calm and Carry On", or France's "Je Suis Paris".
