Sure as hell looks like it. Fishing Resort shipped 200k on Wii (in Japan alone? Not sure) which is BY FAR Prope's most successful title to date.

So now somehow they managed to make a successor on 3DS via Mii Plaza. FYI Bandai Namco own Fishing Resort. But it's not like you can own the concept of fishing games now can you?

I always expected a Wii U sequel, especially after FR's success and Bandai Namco actually making Wii U exclusive Taiko games and making family games for Wii U as a whole.

Ultimate Angler does look really nice (and adorable). I'm considering it!

Definitely the first StreetPass game that's really caught my attention, gonna have to check it out. Also I'd take that first avatar but I'm just too attached to pixel Villager here...
