I have Dragon Quest V DS, people tell me it was really limited. Can anyone confirm?
If its European, yes. Otherwise, sorry US version got a reprint last year.
This brings me nicely onto some of my ones, these are the modern definition of rare as in it costs a bit of money but you can find someone selling it online easily rather than hardly ever seeing anyone sell it:
Electroplankton, Dragon Quest V and Chrono Trigger for DS (the latter two you might go eh? but for some reason the European copies are rather pesky to hunt).
For GBA. FFVI Advance, Kirby & the Amazing Mirror (again if you're going eh there are European copies, the latter in particular is rarely seen). Lesser ones which are the "still sell for a lot" are things like Golden Sun 2, Advance Guardian Heroes (or was it only the Japanese version that is worth anything?), various imports like Wario Ware Twisted, a few Atlus things (Super Robot Taisen, Summon Night) and nearly all the Bit Generations games (missing Dotstream and Soundvoyager). I suppose Famicom Mini: Nazo no Murasemejo is the only off the beaten track on. Maybe Nonono Puzzle: Chai-rian too..
Gamecube I have the usual pieces like Twilight Princess, Skies of Arcadia, Pokemon Box (though this one is merely uncommon as its not the US version but the hardware bundle from Europe, making it more common than the Club Nintendo boxed version which is probably rarer than the US version...), Pikmin 2 (also much cheaper than the US version which makes no sense as the US got a Player's Choice re-release, I think it was that way before the New Play Control version too).
If only I had Evolution Worlds (the European version is very obscure) then I'd actually have something interesting to say...wait, I remember now. Star Wars Rebel Strike demo disc...
Game Boy I guess Grandia Parallel Trippers now thats is no longer, what was it $5 from play-asia...I suppose if you count counterfeit games then the 8-in-1 I have (contains Pipe Dream, Space Invaders, Master Karateka, KLax, Motorcross madness, Dr. Mario, Kakumon Hebi*, Alleyway) from a holiday roughly 20 years ago in Lanzarote might be more obscure.
