I didn't see any other threads on here about this but I really enjoyed the first year of Retro magazine and I assume some other the other people here would be interested as well. They are having a Kickstarter for the second year (like Nintendo Force did). It's already fully funded but they want to add more pages and some bonuses to the second year issues.

They have some really good (and nostalgic) writers like:

Jeremy Parish
Chris Kohler
Seanbaby
Andy Eddy
Kat Bailey

And a lot more on their Kickstarter page.

They have a digital option as well. But I am really happy to see people trying to keep print gaming magazines alive.

Eh, from what I've heard the magazine isn't all that great. Which is weird because some pretty good writers write for it.

Is this the same Retro magazine that was run by the Edge staff? I still have a lot of those lying around and they're always a great read.

That might be Retro Gamer magazine. http://www.retrogamer.net A UK publication. This is just "Retro", yeah that is pretty confusing.

They are both really good though.
