‘Sickening’ shopper ‘went into store – then masturbated all over its Christmas tree display’
A ‘sickening’ shopper went into a store, then ‘discreetly’ hid behind its display of Christmas trees and masturbated all over them, police say. Perrion Smith, 30, is said to have pleasured himself in the unidentified big box store in Thibodaux, Louisiana, on Sunday afternoon.
Despite Smith’s attempts to conceal himself among the festive foliage, he was spotted performing the solo sex act by multiple customers, it is alleged. Police were called, with Smith fleeing the scene as they arrived, the Houma Times reported.
Thibodaux Police Department Chief Bryan Zeringue said afterwards: ‘Mr Smith’s actions were sickening. There is no place for this type of lewd behavior and we will push to see that Mr. Smith is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.’
Smith’s alleged antics forced the shop to dispose of $500 worth of Christmas tree inventory, over fears the alleged pervert had soiled it. He tried to flee the scene as police arrived, but was arrested before he could escape, it is claimed.
Smith was arrested on charges including obscenity felony. He was taken to Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex, where he is being held in lieu of $15,000 bond.
